ENGLISH OBITUARY AFTER THE FRENCH
Au Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de Chaudière-Appalaches, secteur Beauce, le samedi 19 février 2022, à l'âge de 84 ans et 9 mois, est décédé monsieur Roland Poirier, époux de feu Andrée Tardif et fils de feu Fernando Poirier et de feu Alma Deblois.

Il demeurait à Saint-Georges.

Il laisse dans le deuil

ses enfants : Serge (Martha G. Poirier) et Sylvie (Pierre Roy);

ses petits-enfants : Maxime Roy (Jessie Bossert), Chantale Roy (Eric Ferland), Nicolas Poirier (Jennifer Gile) et Ryan Poirier (Chelsea Poirier);

ses arrière-petits-enfants : Megane Ferland, Lennon Salikin, Theo Roy et John Thomas Poirier.

Il était le beau-père de : Marie-Claude Poulin et Jérôme Poulin (Marie-Josée Savard).

Il était le frère de : Monique (feu Jacques Reny), Denise (Albert Cathart), feu Bertrand (Louise Bégin), Jean-Luc (Yolande Poulin), feu Gertrude (René. Poulin), feu Jeannine (feu Yoland Dupuis), Jacqueline, feu Pierre et Richard (Lilianne Poulin).

Il laisse également dans le deuil plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s.

La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel du premier étage du CISSS-CA à Saint-Georges pour les bons soins prodigués.

Un hommage lui a été rendu le jeudi 3 mars 2022 à 16h en la chapelle du Parc commémoratif Chaudière-Appalaches et l'inhumation a eu lieu au cimetière Saint-Georges sous la direction de La maison Roy & Giguère inc. à Saint-Georges.

Roland Poirier passed away at the St-Georges Hospital in Quebec, on Saturday, February 19th 2022 in his 85th year.

He lived in St-Georges, Quebec.

He was the beloved father of : Serge (Martha G. Poirier) and Sylvie (Pierre Roy);

dear grandfather of: Maxime Roy (Jessie Bossert), Chantale Roy (Eric Ferland), Nicolas Poirier (Jennifer Gile) and Ryan Poirier (Chelsea Poirier);

great-grandfather of : Megane Ferland, Lennon Salikin, Theo Roy and John Thomas Poirier;

stepfather of : Marie-Claude Poulin and Jérôme Poulin (Marie-Josée Savard)

and brother of : Monique (feu Jacques Reny), Denise (Albert Cathart), Jean-Luc (Yolande Poulin), feu Gertrude (René. Poulin), feu Jeannine (feu Yoland Dupuis), Jacqueline, feu Pierre and Richard (Lilianne Poulin).

He will also be missed by many nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.

The family wants to personally thank all the staff on the 1st floor at the St-Georges Hospital for taking such great care of Roland.

The tribute in his honor has been held at 4 pm in the Chapel at the Parc commémoratif Chaudière-Appalaches, 2455, 25th Street, Saint-Georges G5Z 1S6.
